About this Talk

As more and more family farms are squeezed out of a fundamentally unfair marketplace, the pattern is largely the same. Rural schools consolidate, small businesses on Main St. shutdown, and people move away. Often the last two establishments left are the post office and the grain elevator.

What can be done to change this?

How can we save rural America?

We hear from three leaders in rural America job creation:

Will Harris of White Oak Pastures whose leadership and farm have revitalized the small town of Bluffton, Georgia.

Mike Callicrate of Ranch Foods Direct whose leadership and farm businesses have revitalized the small town of St. Francis, Kansas.

Greg Gunthorp of Gunthorp Farms whose leadership has revitalized the small town of LaGrange, Indiana.
